Robert Nava (b. East Chicago, IN) received his BA in Fine Art from Indiana University Northwest and his MFA in Painting from Yale University School of Art. Nava has had solo exhibitions at Hall Art Foundation, Derneburg, Germany; Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Madrid, Spain; Night Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Pace Gallery London and New York; Vito Schnabel Gallery, New York, NY and Sorry We’re Closed Gallery, Brussels. Nava has been featured in publications including W Magazine, BOMB Magazine, GQ, LA Weekly, Office Magazine, Art & Object, Whitehot Magazine and Cultured. His work is included in the permanent collections of Musée d'Art Moderne, Paris, France; Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois; Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, Florida; Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, California; The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas; The Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus, Ohio and the Orange County Museum of Art, Santa Ana, CA. Nava lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
